Urban Sports Festival Neuchâtel (USFN) is a fictitious project. The brief was to create a website about an urban sports festival taking place in Neuchâtel. I was also asked to take photos for a sport of my choice. I chose 3×3 basketball.
For this project, I aimed for a highly urban style by incorporating hand-drawn graffiti-style titles and illustrations created in Procreate. The primary font utilized throughout is Antarctica Beta, reflecting a modern and urban aesthetic. I processed the images in warm tones to evoke a summery feel. All images, except those related to 3×3 basketball, were sourced from the internet.
The photos were taken on a sunny day to showcase the warm and summery vibe of the festival. While the urban aspect of the location stood out significantly, I intentionally incorporated lighting effects to disrupt this ambiance and introduce a happier, warmer, and more summery feel.
